Description
Hard to find early trilobite species from the Poleta Formation of Nevada. This plate features two Elliptocephala with the largest measuring 2.5 cm including the tail spine. One specimen is nearly perfect while the other falls on a natural joint line in the rock. Elliptocephala praenuntius are found with Teresellus goldfieldensis, but are very rare. Outstanding piece.
